Responsibilities Support Personal Care Needs: Assist individuals with dining, toileting, and transfers, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Implement Engaging Programs: Develop and lead individual and group activities that promote skill development, independence, and community integration. Collaborate on Behavior Plans: Work with the clinical team to create and implement behavior management strategies tailored to each individual. Facilitate Transportation: Assist with transporting participants to various activities and appointments as needed. Evaluate and Document Progress: Conduct satisfaction surveys, document participant progress, and ensure compliance with Individual Support Plans (ISPs). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred. High School diploma with 1 year of related experience also accepted. Compassionate, organized, and eager to make a difference. A valid driver’s license and the ability to assist in physical interventions as needed.

Responsibilities

The Activities Specialist will support individuals with disabilities by assisting with personal care needs and facilitating engaging programs that promote skill development. They will also collaborate with clinical teams on behavior plans and document participant progress to ensure compliance with support plans.
