DEPARTMENT : Guest Services (seasonal) REPORTS TO: Activities Marina Manager SUMMARY: Assist resort guests with all resort activities, slingshot, crafts, science, tie dye, bingo and more… When not working directly with activities, employees will assist the front desk regarding guest needs. Delivering guests towels, coffee packets, toiletries, helping guests with television/remote control connections. May assist with all marina activities, including boat preparation and pontoon cruises. Perform outstanding guest service on a daily basis. Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication, and interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: CPR, First Aid, and Boating/Water Safety certification preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests. Implement activities schedule. Assists guests with registering for activities through Maestro and POS software. Ensures both adult and children guest’s satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations. Ensure safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all resort and marina activities. Make sure relevant paperwork is completed and turned in along with daily drop if any. Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments. Assists at the front desk with greeting guests, delivering requested items, Assists in marina and event services as needed. All other duties as assigned. Requirements EXPECTATIONS: The employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ruttger’s further expects every employee to exhibit stellar guest service and a regular attendance record. REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pass Ruttger’s background check; Valid Driver’s License.
