DESCRIPTION:

In this role, you will serve as a supervisor for our activities team. You will plan and oversee the delivery of all resort activities, staff training and daily supervision. You will ensure all activities are planned, organized and delivered, creating exceptional guest experiences. In this leadership position, you will be expected to problem solve and find solutions for both staff and guests. This is an outdoor position, and you will be expected to be outside daily.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience working with children 3yrs – 12yrs in an outdoor environment preferred.
• Day camp/ summer camp experience preferred.
• Experience working in the tourism industry in a guest service role helpful.
• Water safety knowledge and basic first aid helpful.
• Any first aid training helpful
• Programs require physical versatility.
• Cleared criminal records check.

• Plan & deliver daily programs for our resort guests of all ages.
• Ability to lead by example and be a mentor the activities staff.
• Oversee daily operations in the absence of the activities manager.
• Responsible for conducting daily safety checks on all resort activity’s equipment.
• Ensuring all staff are following the correct safety measures to create a safe environment for both resort guests and staff.
• Possess an extensive knowledge of activities, resort amenities and third-party operations.
• Provide ongoing communication between shifts, with the activities and camps manager, staff, and other resort departments.
• Assist manager with scheduling, training and supply inventory.
• Accountable for dept. area daily maintenance of equipment. Including keeping track of inventory of supplies.
