OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activity Aide to join our team in providing engaging and meaningful activities for residents in a nursing home or assisted living environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors, particularly those with disabilities or dementia, and will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through various recreational and therapeutic activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dementia care practices is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents and collaborate with team members.
  • A genuine passion for senior care and enhancing the lives of elderly individuals.

  • Provide one-on-one support to residents who may require additional assistance or encouragement to participate in activities.

  • Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback on activities to help improve future programming.
