Activity Aide Department: Activities Employment Type: Full Time Location: Canonsburg , PA Description Come join the team at WeCare Centers at South Hills Care Center! WeCare Centers at South Hills Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Activity Aide for our community in Canonsburg, PA. Our Activity Aides provide the residents exciting, stimulating, and resident centered recreation programs. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, preparing, and executing of activities. Participate and lead group activities. Participate and lead 1:1 activity. Assure a safe and home like environment for our residents. Attends and participates in continuing education programs. Assist in the set – up and clean-up of activity space. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent. Creative background. Previous long-term care or experience working with the elderly or differently abled is preferred. Communicates professionally with all residents, family members, staff, and visitors. Ability to follow step by step procedures and programs.
