Memory care experience is a plus, we are willing to train. Assist our residents with activities to provide social communication, entertainment, exercise, and relaxation. Lead group and individual resident activities. Complete required record keeping per facility policy. Sort and deliver residents mail & newspaper. Requirements Qualifications/Experience: Activity Assistant / Life Enrichment Assistant must: Be able to care for various levels of acuity patients. Promote and facilitate teamwork. Demonstrate a high standard of ethics and excellent customer service. Show dependability which includes weekend and holiday availability. Provide physical/essential functions test or fit for duty physical upon hire. Have prior employer / personal references. Submit to a criminal/fingerprint background check that provides eligibility per LARA
Responsibilities
The Life Enrichment Assistant will work in assisted living units, assisting residents with activities that promote social communication, entertainment, exercise, and relaxation, including leading group and individual sessions. Responsibilities also include sorting and delivering mail/newspapers and completing required record keeping according to facility policy.
