FULL-TIME (40 HOURS/WEEK), MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR WEEKENDS, EVENINGS, AND FLEXIBLE HOURS

We are currently seeking a dedicated and creative Activity Assistant to support the Memory Care Activity Director in providing meaningful engagement for our residents in a warm and supportive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1–2 years of experience working with older adults, preferably in an activity or memory care setting.
• Compassionate, energetic, and creative with a genuine interest in working with individuals with dementia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing group and individual activities tailored to residents in our 35-Apartment Memory Care Neighborhood.
• Encourage resident participation and promote socialization, cognitive engagement, and emotional well-being.
• Assist with outings and special events to enrich residents’ lives.
• Prepare and arrange common areas for activities; ensure supplies and materials are ready and areas are clean and inviting.
• Decorate the memory care neighborhood for holidays, seasonal events, and themed programs.
• Collaborate with the Memory Care Activity Director and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Supervisor, or Administrator.
