Description As Activity Coordinator, this person will be in charge of planning activities with the residents everyday out of house and in house. Ensuring residents of the homes under your supervision has planned activities to go shopping for their necessities and out to eat, to the movies, along with activities and groups in the home. You will be required to document on the planned activities for the homes under your supervision and communicate regularly with the DIrector of Recreation and Resident Development. You may be asked to transport Residents to and from their appointments, special events by using the company provided vehicles. Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicles. Utilize the vehicle checklist to maintain counts of all the residents before and after outings. You will be responsible for ensuring accountability of the recreation money for the residents and its distribution. At any time you may be asked to perform other duties. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid Drivers License or state ID Successful completion of a Drug Screen. Background results within the company standards. Must have CPR and First Aid or must complete MSHN CPR/FIRST AID Class within the first thirty days of employment. Organization and Prioritization of work Absolute Necessity.
