Activity Support Organiser – Learning Disabilities Day Service
Full-Time 37hpw - from £12.34 per hour
Our Community Lives Day Services at Boyn Grove (Maidenhead) and Oakbridge (Windsor) provide stimulating activities and opportunities for our customers to mix with other people, visit different places, learn new things and improve their well-being. With our services designed to meet different needs and interests every day, we support people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with physical disabilities to achieve their personal goals and live life to the fullest!
We are recruiting for an Activity Support Organiser to work full-time – the service operates Monday to Friday only, from 8.30am to 4.30pm
As an Activity Support Organiser, you will provide high quality, person-centred support and help deliver meaningful activities catered to the interests of our customers. You’ll engage and motivate our customers to take part in our exciting range of on-site activities and events in the community, and support with life skills, as well as emotional and physical wellbeing.
The role will also involve care responsibilities, which may include administering medication, supporting with personal care and assisting with mobility.

Experience in the care sector would be beneficial but is not necessary – what we are looking for is personality, creativity and some interesting hobbies that will engage our customers. Full training is provided, including classroom-based learning, shadowing experienced staff and online sessions.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role as you will be driving our service vehicles to take customers for activities in the community.
