Permanent Ref No: 1705791 Qualification: Nearly / Newly Qualified, Part QualifiedOur Bermuda & Dublin client provides specialty property, casualty and life reinsurance products through reinsurance intermediaries worldwide. These programs range from Property Excess of Loss reinsurance to Trade Credit and Surety treaties. Reporting to the Head of Reserving, the successful candidate will be responsible for Solvency II support.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory regime, including but not limited to:
• Oversight for all Solvency II Pillar 3 reporting (e.g., QRTs, SFCR, RSR)
• Primary responsibility for Solvency II Pillar 1 valuations (e.g. technical provisions, SCR)
• Contribution to Solvency II Pillar 2 compliance as guided by Risk Management (e.g. Risk Policies, Risk Appetite)
• Supporting internal and external reporting requirements and ownership of the annual SII returns
• Supporting ad-hoc projects/initiatives related to analytics and process automation
• Potentially assisting the risk management teams in the analysis and reporting of financial valuations and risk measurement for the books of business including aspects of reserving.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field
• 2-5 years insurance or related experience including one or more of: risk management, portfolio analysis, risk modelling, actuarial analysis, regulatory compliance
• Technical experience with SQL and other database management systems is a must
• Knowledge of Solvency II framework and regulations
• Strong skills with MS Excel, and strong problem solving skills
• General insurance reserving experience with knowledge of reserving methodology and exposure is a plus, but not a necessity
