    Summary Provide support for various actuarial functions, including pricing, liability estimates, and the creation of financial projections.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide support for pricing projects 1. Compile data to be used in analysis 2. Analyze production and loss experience by agent, dealer, plans, classes, terms, and other rating variables to determine key drivers for product performance * Use actuarial methods to determine proper rate levels by product * Identify high loss dealers and develop high risk rates for them 1. Create write-up of pricing recommendations for leadership review * Provide support for implementation of new rates 1. Prepare underwriting request with supporting documents for carrier review 2. Provide rates to Operations for implementation 3. Create or update rate cards used by Sales 4. Provide loss experience requested by Sales 5. Review exception requests from Sales and recommend responses * Provide support for financial projections and liability estimates including * Profit share forecasts 1. Calculating buyout offers for agreements with contingent liabilities * No Charge-Back reserves * Roadside reserves * Assist in other tasks as needed 1. Setup earnings for new programs 2. Review application of earnings curves 3. Serve as testing lead for department   Education and Experience * Bachelors of Science degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field * 2 or more years prior work experience in actuarial, risk management, or similar function * Prior work experience with vehicle service contracts preferred * Advanced Excel knowledge * Proficient with MS Office suite * Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, or other data analysis tools preferred   Skills * Intermediate/Advanced Excel * Proficient with MS Office programs * Proficient with database queries  * Advanced analytical skills * Attention to detail and accuracy.   Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and look at a computer screen for long periods of the day.
