Responsibilities

Belgium’s pension landscape is undergoing a seismic shift with the implementation of the new pension agreement. This transformation means current pension schemes must be adapted—opening the door to complex, meaningful, and impactful actuarial work.

As an Actuarial Consultant at WTW, you’ll collaborate with both local and international colleagues on a wide range of projects involving employee benefit plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing actuarial valuations for corporate reporting (USGAAP, IFRS) and statutory pension fund reporting;
  • Managing and reporting on pension funds, ensuring full compliance;
  • Supporting plan design through actuarial modeling, implementation, and employee communication strategies;
  • Conducting benefit audits and benchmarking studies;
  • Engaging in asset/liability modeling;
  • Leading employee communication initiatives;
  • Contributing to M&A studies from a benefits perspective.

This is your opportunity to strengthen your technical expertise across both pension fund and group insurance markets, while building a consulting career in a firm where you’re empowered to grow and take ownership of your work. Projects vary from local to international in scope, giving you the chance to build a truly global skillset.
