ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking, self-motivated individual to join our established team as an Actuarial Analyst.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE START DATE FOR THE ROLE IS FROM SEPTEMBER 2025.

Using their mathematical and statistical expertise, the successful candidate will assist in analysing and solving complex problems, therefore contributing towards the team’s delivery of services to agreed timeframes and quality standards.
At LV= we have an excellent study support package available for the successful candidate, which will include allocated time for study, and time off for exams – this will benefit a candidate looking to advance and progress within their Actuarial career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using complex mathematical formulas around advanced statistics and modelling.
• Using spreadsheets, or other specialist software, to operate processes and complete data analysis task
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Producing technical analysis and using this to provide technical support to a team of Actuaries.
• Providing clear progress updates on tasks and highlight any issues/concerns.
• Explaining your calculations and methods together with results of your findings and produce these in formatted reports, which can be understood by colleagues in your area of expertise.
• Delivering accurate work and projects in a timely manner.
• Developing your own knowledge, technical capabilities, and remaining informed of your team’s activities and updates.
• Ensuring all applicable LVFS policies are followed.
