QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Actuarial certification (e.g., ASA, ACAS) or progress towards certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and tools, such as Excel, SAS, or R.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex actuarial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct actuarial analysis and modeling to assess risk and determine appropriate pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement actuarial solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate actuarial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance actuarial processes.
  • Participate in actuarial research and development projects to improve methodologies and enhance predictive modeling capabilities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial tools, systems, and databases. Support the actuarial team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.
