Job Description: Job Description Actuarial Analyst in the Capital and Reinsurance Management team, primarily supporting reinsurance administration and risk management. Support reinsurance financial reporting under IFRS 17 and RBC, including premium and claims accruals, settlement and true-up processing, ledger reconciliations, regulatory and internal compliance reporting, and audit support. Prepare settlement accounts for various reinsurance treaties, address reinsurer and internal queries, and perform UAT for new treaty setups, amendments, and data system modernization. Maintain the reinsurance administration system and support process optimization through system enhancements and advanced use of Alteryx and AI tools, including workflow design, unit testing, UAT, and production deployment. Monitor reinsurance counterparty risk, per-life retention, and reinsurance gains or losses for reinsurance risk management, and support periodic treaty reviews, reinsurer due diligence, and ad-hoc projects. Support other ad hoc actuarial tasks while developing modelling skills in Axis, etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related disciplines Good progress in actuarial exams 2-3 years of experience in the life insurance industry Solid understanding of valuation, capital and financial reporting Experience in reinsurance is an advantage Experience in Alteryx is highly preferred Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Proactive and accountable; able to work both independently and collaboratively Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and strong team commitment.
