Actuarial Pricing Manager-Commercial is responsible for working with other members of the actuarial pricing team to build, implement, and maintain lob indications, and pricing models or other actuarial or predictive analytic models in conjunction with our Data & Analytics team members in support of driving profitability measures across Commercial Lines.

Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?

  • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics/Statistics with FCAS designation or close to completion.
  • 7+ years’ experience FCAS or close equivalent.
  • 7+ years’ experience as a Senior Actuarial Analyst or specialist with another P&C insurer.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to break large problems into smaller, more manageable problems and find solutions to complex problems
  • Willing to say “yes” to things that seem impossible
