OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of acupuncture techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering acupuncture therapy to promote healing and wellness. The Acupuncturist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
This is an independent contractor position offering a flat rental starting at $250/ month depending on space used. This position would be ideal for someone whose already established themselves within the community looking to move away from an employee or split contract agreement.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to acupuncture and holistic health.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong focus on patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients’ needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage patient records and treatment schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health history and current conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and complementary therapies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and practices.
