• OR first assisting in Cardiac surgery: Aortic valve replacement, Mitral Valve (Repair/ Replacement), Minimally Invasive Mitral Valve Surgery, Tricuspid Valve (Repair/Replacement) MAZE Procedure, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, Heart Transplant, Left Ventricular Assist Device Insertion, Open radial artery harvest, and ECMO cannulation.
• Required Getinge/Maquet Vasoview Hemopro 2 Endoscopic Vein Harvesting.
• Inpatient rounding on hospital post op patients.
• Outpatient pre and post op clinic duties.
• Cardiac call includes Day call (7a-4p: consult pager)Night call(4p-7a includes OR, outpatient and hospital inpatient calls) Night Call obligations 6-8x per month.
• Procurement call 2 x per month (OR back up, Heart or Lung Donor OR call with Thoracic Surgeons).
  During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question – Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.
