Key Responsibilities * Perform and document basic patient care tasks under RN supervision while maintaining required competencies. * Assist with patient flow and communication using multi‑line phones, call systems, and telecommunication devices. * Maintain a clean, safe care environment; identify and report safety hazards and complete required safety event reports. * Initiate emergency calls, including Code Blue, Fire, Special Alert, and Rapid Response per hospital protocol. * Support documentation, medical record maintenance, and computer downtime procedures per TriHealth standards. * Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members, escalating concerns as needed. * Ensure equipment and supplies are available, functional, and properly maintained. Qualifications Required * Minimum 2 years of high school education. * Age 17 with work permit. * Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification. * Reading and math proficiency appropriate for role. * Experience with multi‑line phones, call systems, and pagers. Preferred * Experience with clinical computer applications or hospital support systems. * Prior experience in patient care or hospital support environment.
