Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Acute Location: Shropshire Contract: Temporary Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team in Shropshire. This role involves working within an acute inpatient setting, specifically across medicine, endocrine, respiratory, and renal wards, supporting patients through their recovery and ensuring safe, timely discharges. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions across acute medical wards. Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care. Promote independence and functional recovery for patients with complex medical needs. Requirements: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Proven experience in acute inpatient care, ideally across medicine, endocrine, respiratory, and renal specialties.
