Job Responsibilities Job Summary The Associate Director, HCM Solutions provides strategic leadership and oversight for the design, optimization, and governance of the organization’s Workday platform across the global HR lifecycle. This role is accountable for shaping the long-term system roadmap, driving enterprise-wide HR technology strategy, and ensuring Workday enables efficient, compliant, and scalable HR operations. The Associate Director leads a team of Workday analysts and partners closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), IT, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver technology solutions across key HCM modules—including Core HR, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, and Recruiting. This position serves as a trusted advisor to HR leadership, aligning system capabilities with organizational goals and future workforce needs. Core Responsibilities • Provide strategic direction and governance for Workday administration, configuration, and roadmap development across all HCM modules. • Lead the portfolio of HR technology initiatives, prioritizing enhancements and innovations that improve user experience, automation, and global scalability. • Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of complex configurations, integrations, and process optimizations that enable efficient HR operations. • Partner with HR COEs, IT, and business stakeholders to align Workday capabilities with business strategies and workforce planning priorities. • Lead and mentor a global team of Workday professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Serve as the key liaison between HR Technology and executive stakeholders, providing strategic insights and recommendations on platform performance, data integrity, and adoption. • Oversee Workday release management and change governance to ensure sustainable adoption and risk mitigation. • Champion system data integrity, compliance, and security standards in partnership with HR, IT, and Data Governance teams. • Monitor Workday’s evolving functionality and ecosystem, assessing opportunities to leverage new features, AI, and automation to enhance business value. • Develop executive reporting and dashboards that measure system performance, utilization, and ROI across HR processesQualifications Education Requirements Min/Preferred Education Level Description Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Additional Qualifications • Requires progressive HR Technology experience, including advanced hands-on Workday expertise across multiple HCM modules. • Proven experience leading HRIS or HR Technology teams with global scope and cross-functional alignment. • Strong understanding of HR process design, data governance, and system architecture within a complex enterprise environment. • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise HR technology initiatives, including vendor management, release strategy, and roadmap development. • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex system concepts into strategic insights. • Experience managing HR system budgets, vendor contracts, and resource planning.
