QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree or higher in Automotive Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, particularly ADAS components and their functionalities.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, data entry best practices, and basic SQL (or other database query languages).
  • Proficient with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Web Interfaces) and data management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive technology, data entry/management, or a similar technical research role is preferred.
  • Professional experience in servicing collision-damaged vehicles is preferred.
  • Experience with CCC and Mitchell Estimating software preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in ADAS.

Responsibilities
  • Gather technical specifications, schematics, and data from various manufacturers, industry databases, and internal resources.
  • Input, update, and maintain ADAS and Automotive Safety related data (e.g., vehicle model coverage, feature availability, component specifications).
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers, Head of ADAS, and VP of ADAS Solutions to optimize database structure and improve data storage methods.
  • Conduct periodic audits of the database to identify missing or outdated information.
  • Test new database features or functionalities prior to release to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, working cross-functionally with support and engineering teams.
  • Provide regular progress reports and performance metrics to the Head of ADAS Support & Systems.
  • Contribute to the development of internal documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and product reviews to provide insights on ADAS database trends.
  • Other duties as required.
