Under the direction of the Aaniish Naa Manager and the Director of Niigaaniin Services, the Aaniish Naa Oodenaang Enaadmaaget will work to deliver predetermined curriculum to designated sites operated under the District Social Services Administration Board (DSSAB). Those community members that receive group services which are identified as appropriate and interested in receiving additional services from Niigaaniin will be assigned to Niigaaniin Services/Aaniish Naa and will work with the existing external supports and the community member to create a service plan that includes accessing the full spectrum of supports under Mamaweswen, the North Shore Tribal Council and external partners or specialized mental health supports when appropriate either under Maamwesying or other.
They will conduct assessments of individuals’ (GAIN-SS, URICA, MMS, & others) to establish a starting point for service plan creation and complete full program intakes when necessary.
The Oodenaang Enaadmaaget will focus on case management support of Indigenous Individuals and offer a group delivery model that rotates curriculum to meet the needs of various individuals from various backgrounds that utilize homeless services within the DSSAB catchment area (SSM).
