Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Addiction Counselor plays a crucial role in supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This position involves assessing clients’ needs, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and counseling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in case management and experience working with diverse populations, including children. The Addiction Counselor will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ substance use issues and mental health status.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support recovery efforts.
- Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes.
