JOB SUMMARY: The Additive Mfg Tech-Spec is responsible for programming of FDM machines. Candidate will design and create tools to assist in detail part fabrication and other various tooling needs and requirements. This role will assist in the loading and unloading of equipment and perform post processing activities such as the sanding of parts and assist in light machine maintenance as needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze blueprints for part definition and surface roughness requirements. Remove and breakout parts from the support material. Coordinate production and experimental activities closely with various engineering disciplines to analyze and interpret incomplete and preliminary engineering data and specifications Assist lower level employees in utilizing proper techniques used in additive manufacturing as required to meet engineering specifications. Assists with scheduling and communicates work activity. Reverse engineer parts to create tools and models, models must be thorough and complete to verify safety, usability, and interferences prior to fabrication. Performs other related duties as required EDUCATION: Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification. Ability to read complex blueprints and drawings, advanced shop math and knowledge of aircraft manufacturing principles EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years aircraft, tooling, and programming exp. required.
