EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS

· A master’s degree in social work, psychotherapy, psychology, counselling psychology, or a related field.
· CBT training or certification recognized by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT).
· Active membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
· ICF-certified coaching training and/or certification is a strong asset.
· Current liability insurance.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

· At least two years of experience in coaching, counseling, teaching, or mentoring youth and young adults.
· Strong understanding of executive dysfunction, ADHD, and neurodiversity.
· Experience using CBT techniques to help students develop time management, emotional regulation, and organization skills.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to work with students, parents, and educators.
· High comfort level with technology to support virtual learning and coaching.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about helping students with ADHD and executive dysfunction develop the skills they need to thrive academically and personally? Evoke Learning is seeking a dedicated ADHD and executive function (EF) coach with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)training to join our team. This is a remote, part-time, independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
As an ADHD coach at Evoke Learning, you will work one-on-one with high school and postsecondary students to improve their time management, organization, emotional regulation, and motivation. This role uniquely integrates CBT principles with executive function coaching to empower students to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

THE ROLE

The ADHD & Executive Function Coach supports students in setting and achieving academic and personal goals by:
· Identifying and addressing cognitive distortions and emotional obstacles.
· Helping students challenge automatic thoughts, manage emotional distractors, and build self-regulation.
· Teaching evidence-based strategies for time management, prioritization, motivation, and organization.
· Encouraging commitment to growth and accountability.
· Tracking student progress and adjusting strategies as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES:

· Student Coaching & Support
o Help students identify executive function challenges and develop practical strategies.
o Provide CBT-based interventions for overcoming emotional and cognitive barriers.
o Support students in breaking down assignments, managing time, and improving self-regulation.
· Skill Development & Assistive Technology
o Support students in using assistive technology for organization and learning.
o Guide students in developing self-advocacy skills.
· Progress Tracking & Parent Communication
o Track student progress using Evoke’s progress tools.
o Provide periodic updates to parents and key stakeholders.
o Maintain accurate, confidential records of sessions and student outcomes.
· Scheduling & Professional Collaboration
o Manage personal scheduling and session bookings via Evoke’s Jane app.
o Collaborate with the Evoke team to support student needs.
