adidas Brand Specialists are the link between the adidas brand at retail and the team at Headquarters. By becoming an adidas Brand Specialist, you’ll be part of an elite ground force of experts looking to bring the latest adidas product to customers at our key retail partners. You’ll be the go-to adidas specialist and brand champion, fostering relationships, and promoting adidas running products with staff and customers in your market. You’ll spread brand love among store associates, motivate and inspire store teams to drive adidas product sales, and ensure brand priorities are reflected in key retail accounts.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • In this position you will be an Archrival Agent, employed through a Canada based employer of record representing adidas.
  • You will be expected to work 40 hours a week with a shifting schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • There is no office for this position. When you’re not in stores, you’re in the car. When you’re not in the car, you’re in the stores, with some working from home time sprinkled in.
  • You must have access to a reliable vehicle with the required insurance minimums (we’ll reimburse you for certain work-related mileage).
Responsibilities
  • Lead and Mentor: Manage and develop a small team of Brand Specialists across Canada, ensuring expectations are clear, team efforts align with brand and program goals, and Brand Specialists deliver on all responsibilities in market.
  • Drive Sales: Strategically crease sell-through of adidas running, soccer and lifestyle products by promoting both on-site and digitally, while driving brand love among consumers.
  • Educate Associates: Execute regular trainings for store associates, ensuring that store teams are knowledgeable about adidas products and able to effectively convey features and benefits to consumers.
  • Build Retail Partnerships: Strengthen relationships with store managers and associates to enhance adidas brand presence and advocacy.
  • Educate and Train: Develop and execute training programs for store associates, ensuring product knowledge and brand integrity.
  • Provide Insights: Gather and analyze market, retail, and consumer data to inform adidas HQ strategies and initiatives.
  • Represent the Brand: Serve as the adidas expert, inspiring retail teams and customers to engage with adidas products.
  • Create Content: Collaborate with agency partners to lead and oversee the creation of educational and promotional content.
  • Client Alignment: Regular collaboration with brand partners to align on account priorities, deliver impactful insights and field learnings, and make connections to agency resources as needed.
