Bishop’s University is seeking an Administrative Assistant –Legal & Procurement for a regular full-time position. Reporting to General Counsel the incumbent plays a key role in supporting the Legal & Procurement Department by providing comprehensive administrative and operational assistance. This position combines general administrative duties with procurement-specific responsibilities, ensuring efficient processes, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. This position has a work week of 35 hours from Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in public sector procurement.
  • Bilingual in English and French (oral and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; experience with SEAO and LAC software.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Maintains confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and tact at all times.
