Are you known for your organizational skills, warm welcome, and administrative rigor? Howmet Aerospace is looking for an Administrative Assistant at the Reception Desk to join its dynamic team!
As a true point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, you will be at the heart of daily operations, supporting various departments.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bilingualism essential (French, English)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook, to organize in-person or TEAMS meetings, manage availability, and make room reservations
  • Comfortable with IT tools and peripherals (ease of learning new software, use of printers, scanners, and telephone systems)
  • Recruitment support (job postings, screening calls, scheduling appointments, following up on applications)
  • Ability Professional writing (internal and external requests, emails)
  • Face-to-face and telephone reception (call screening, visitor management, professional representation of the company)
  • Discretion, resourcefulness, autonomy, initiative, good judgment, and attention to detail

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Hold a professional studies diploma in secretarial studies or the equivalent

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar position

Provide administrative support to various departments, primarily human resources:

  • Write and publish job descriptions for vacant positions (Indeed)
  • Conduct telephone interviews with potential candidates and invite them for interviews
  • Participate in the onboarding of new employees
  • Creation, issuance, and monitoring of access cards (Kantech)
  • Enter data into various documents for employee training
  • Provide support when organizing corporate activities
  • Perform any other tasks that may be assigned
  • Respect the company’s values ​​and code of ethics
  • Comply with the company’s environmental, health, and safety program
Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome visitors and keep the log up to date (MK Descartes)
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Perform requisitions at the request of the production team (Oracle)
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and emails and prepare documents for mailing (regular mail, courier shipments)
  • Translate for presentations and internal training sessions
  • Establish and maintain an efficient filing system
  • Manage the inventory and supply of office supplies
  • Manage the inventory and supply of promotional items (research and request quotes)
