The Centre for English Communication (CEC) is an academic support unit that delivers a suite of English communication courses to fulfill its mission of ensuring excellence in the teaching and learning of written and oral communication in English. Specific to this position, we are looking for candidates to teach WRIT601 Professional Communication Skills for Postgraduate Students, a programme offered by CEC to equip postgraduates with key communication strategies to write cogently in academic, business and professional settings. We are looking for individuals who: have a demonstrable awareness of current pedagogy have experience in teaching a wide range of English courses at the tertiary level have displayed a commitment to student-centered teaching have demonstrated the ability to motivate students have experience in teaching students with varied abilities Additionally, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience: M.A. (English Language) and/or other relevant qualifications Experience in teaching undergraduate or postgraduate writing courses Only applicants who are successful will be notified.
