Webster University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in International Relations and/or Security Studies at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. We seek dynamic instructors committed to delivering engaging, rigorous, and relevant instruction, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and assessing student performance in alignment with program outcomes. Courses may be offered in-person, online, or in hybrid formats. Adjunct instructors should be prepared to teach one or more of the following courses: · Introduction to International Relations. · Comparative Politics. · International Political Economy. · Research Methods in Political Science/International Relations. · Foreign Policy. · Regionally focused courses, including on the Middle East, Latin America, Central Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and Africa. Qualifications A Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required to teach undergraduate classes. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in one or more of the listed subject areas, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and show a clear commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.
