Attend virtual and in-person faculty meetings, residencies, workshops, commencement, and training as required. Ability to work a student-friendly schedule (evenings/weekends). Qualifications Qualifications Earned doctorate in the field of study or closely related field. 1+ year of graduate teaching experience is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who bring diverse perspectives to the program. Capacity and willingness to provide individualized instructional support and guidance to a diverse population of students. Demonstrate capacity through application materials to support Walden University’s mission and vision. Licenses/Certifications Multi-State/Compact RN License is required. Minnesota RN license is considered a plus. Work Experience Three or more years of teaching experience and/or a capacity and willingness to instruct a diverse population of students. Experience supporting doctoral research committees and/or a capacity and willingness to mentor and support a diverse population of doctoral students. Experience with distance learning preferred. Additional Information Additional information In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is as follows: Graduate Course Instruction: $1,560 - $4,080 per Quarter or Semester, depending on type of course taught and length of course Undergraduate Course Instruction: $700 - $2,200 per quarter, depending on type of course taught and length of course Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility. Walden also offers other opportunities for its adjunct faculty members, such as dissertation/doctoral study committee chair positions, research reviewing, and dissertation and doctoral study mentoring.
