Description The Adjunct Instructor – General Psychology is responsible for delivering high-quality synchronous online instruction to college-level students. This includes helping students understand foundational psychological concepts, theories, and principles related to human behavior and mental processes. Check Us Out! Duties to include but not limited to: Deliver live, scheduled online class sessions and actively teach during all assigned meeting times Develop and deliver lectures, discussions, and learning activities on topics such as cognition, development, personality, mental health, and behavior Design and implement assessments, including exams, quizzes, written assignments, and applied activities, to evaluate student learning Use a variety of teaching methods, including case studies, real-world applications, and technology-based instruction Facilitate critical thinking related to psychological theories, research methods, and human behavior AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER. Requirements Master’s degree in psychology or a closely related field required; individuals with a master’s degree in another discipline may be considered with at least 15 graduate credits in psychology College-level teaching experience preferred Experience teaching diverse student populations Experience with online learning platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
