Company Description Keypath Education is supporting Wilkes University's search to build a pool of qualified adjunct faculty to teach in its Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program within the Passan School of Nursing. This is a rolling recruitment process intended to establish a pool of candidates for future needs. Applicants will be contacted as opportunities become available. Wilkes University invites applicants for a variety of Adjunct Graduate Nursing Faculty Positions in the Passan School of Nursing, in the DNP program. Job Description The successful candidate is responsible for teaching online Graduate Nursing courses in DNP program and has an excellent understanding of and practice-based experience in one or more of the course areas and specialties indicated below. Ethical Principles for Advanced Nursing Practice Leadership in Advanced Nursing Practice DNP Project (must have prior experience in this role) Qualifications Terminally Degreed (PhD or DNP) Unencumbered RN license in compact state Communication and taking a lead role in multi-level problem solving with students, Wilkes University administration and staff A minimum of 2 years of successful online teaching experience for courses from an accredited university at the graduate level Proven ability to engage students in active learning to meet required course and program outcomes Experience with learning management systems (LMSs); D2L / Brightspace preferred Please include curriculum vitae or resume, cover letter, a list of 3 professional references, current unencumbered RN license, APRN license, national board certification as appropriate, and degree transcripts. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach online graduate nursing courses within the DNP program. Responsibilities include facilitating active learning and providing leadership in advanced nursing practice and project supervision.
