POSITION TITLE: Adjunct Hiring Pool - Teacher Education: Modern Language Student Supervisors COMPENSATION RANGE: 1,080.00 - 1,300.00 per credit hour EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Faculty Department: Schl of Teacher Education Office TARGET HIRE DATE: 6/1/2026 BENEFITS: UNC’s Career Hub This is an open pool posting and applicants will be contacted only if a suitable position becomes available. Pool may be used to fill vacancies for the Fall 2026 - Summer 2027. This pool expires 05/31/2027. Applicants wishing to remain in this pool past 05/31/2027, must reapply at that time. Position Summary: The School of Teacher Education at the University of Northern Colorado invites applications for part-time supervisor positions as we build our capacity to offer quality instruction to graduate students in our Master’s degree with World Languages teacher licensure program. Part-time supervisors hired will become vital members of the School’s nationally recognized teacher preparation programs, committed to the preparation of teachers teaching World Languages in K-12 setting. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of different programs. Minimum Qualifications: BA degree in relevant and appropriate area is required. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include K-12 teaching experience in World Language (Mandarin Chinese strongly desired) setting, and/or supervision experience, demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in school settings, knowledge of teaching best practices in World Language education. We seek candidates who can provide excellent classroom knowledge and a positive model of leadership in K-12 World Language Education. Responsibilities

Provide quality instruction and supervision to graduate students in the Master's degree World Languages teacher licensure program. Act as a positive leadership model and support the preparation of K-12 World Language teachers.
