Adjunct Instructor of Spanish   The Department of Languages at Hendrix College seeks applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Spanish to teach one section of SPAN 110: Fundamentals of Spanish I in the fall semester and one section of SPAN 120: Fundamentals of Spanish II in the spring semester. The instruction of these courses takes place on campus and will meet for four one-hour sessions per week.  Instructors are also expected to provide reasonable office hours to support student learning. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. A master’s or higher in Spanish is required. Applications for the position should include a letter addressing the candidate’s interest in teaching in a liberal arts environment, a curriculum vitae/resume, transcripts (unofficial) from highest degree earned, and list of three references including email address and phone number. Responsibilities
The instructor will teach Fundamentals of Spanish I in the fall and Fundamentals of Spanish II in the spring. Responsibilities include conducting four one-hour sessions per week on campus and providing office hours for students.
