Job Description Summary Bentley University is always seeking qualified candidates for future openings as Adjunct Lecturers in the Experience Design Department. Although we do not have any openings at this time, we encourage all qualified applicants to put their application into this pool for future consideration. Specialization in areas such as digital and social media PR and its application to: communication strategy; public relations practice by business, government; nonprofits; PR writing; creative thinking; the creative industry sector; the intersection between PR, organizations and society. Please note: There are no immediate positions available at this moment, but when a position becomes available we will actively source candidates from this applicant pool. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A master’s degree is required. Significant business experience is highly desirable. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to teach courses on digital and social media PR and its application to: communication strategy; public relations practice by business, government; nonprofits; PR writing; creative thinking; the creative industry sector; the intersection between PR, organizations and society at the undergraduate level. Ability to deliver courses in a variety of different formats (including hybrid and online). Ability to use or willingness to learn course management and delivery software such as Blackboard and Zoom. Salary Range: Compensation for adjunct faculty is governed by the collective bargaining agreement between Bentley University and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 509. For the 2025–26 academic year, adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $7,225.00 per course. Courses with labs and other four-credit courses shall will be compensated at a higher minimum rate of $9,333.00 per course.
