Key Responsibilities - Deliver lectures, tutorials, and/or workshops in assigned modules such as child development, curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment, and family engagement. - Develop and update teaching materials to align with programme learning outcomes and current industry practices. - Facilitate meaningful learning experiences using a variety of instructional strategies, including blended and experiential learning approaches. - Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback. - Support students’ academic progress and professional growth. - Ensure compliance with academic policies, quality assurance standards, and accreditation requirements. - Participate in programme meetings, moderation, and curriculum review as required. Qualifications & Requirements - Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies or a related field. - Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies or a closely related discipline is preferred. - ACTA/ACLP certification is required. - At least 3–5 years of relevant teaching and/or industry experience in early childhood settings. - Prior teaching experience in higher education or adult learning environments is preferred. - Familiarity with Singapore’s early childhood frameworks (e.g., NEL Framework, ECDA guidelines) is an advantage. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities. - Experience in the following modules is highly preferred: - Professionalism Values and Ethics - Children’s Voices, Listening and Agency - Specialist Dissertation - Mental Health and Socio-economic Wellbeing in Early Childhood - Learning and Cognition Difficulties hourly rates: 70-80 We invite industry professionals who are passionate about early childhood education to join our mission and contribute to the development of future educators.
