Part-Time Faculty     About The Job  Fortis College in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Medical Assistant to join its faculty.  If you possess a desire to help others succeed, this is an opportunity for you to positively impact the lives and careers of our students and graduates.    Fortis College provides educational programs that deliver real-life career skills in high-demand occupations that lead to employment upon graduation and a lifetime of professional growth.    Job Description  We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting Program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education.  The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assisting courses.  Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.      Requirements  * Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program resulting in Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree preferred but not required * Certifications: * CCMA and/or * CMA and/or * RMA * At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  * Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven  * Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
