Position: Adjunct/Part-Time Instructor – Advanced Financial & Managerial Accounting
Department: MBA Program, School of Adult and Continuing Education
Location: Philadelphia, PA (SACE)

JOB SUMMARY:

Lincoln University’s MBA Department is seeking a qualified Adjunct/Part-Time Instructor to teach Advanced Financial and Managerial Accounting courses. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to graduate-level students, engaging them in real-world financial analysis, and fostering a learning environment that integrates theoretical concepts with practical application. The ideal candidate will start in the fall of 2025. Courses offered on Saturdays to accommodate working professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant), DBA (Doctor of Business Administration), or PhD in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Prior teaching experience at the college or graduate level is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost management, and managerial decision-making frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver course material for advanced financial and managerial accounting.
  • Utilize various teaching methods to engage students in critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students in academic and professional development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and regulatory changes.
  • Incorporate technology and data analytics into coursework where applicable.
