Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of an Adjunct Professor, Construction Management/Civil Engineering/Architecture in the School of Business & Technology. FSWs' adjunct professors are responsible for providing professional quality work as a teaching faculty member. Work includes conducting and teaching courses within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the College; preparing and delivering lectures to students; compiling, administering and grading examinations; and providing academic assistance to students as needed. The ideal candidate will have: * Doctoral or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or other related engineering or construction discipline. OR *   Doctoral or Master’s degree in a field related to course content plus two (2) years full-time industry construction experience. OR *   MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or other related engineering or construction discipline, plus two (2) years full-time industry construction experience with increasing levels of responsibility. OR *   Alternative Qualifications (additional documentation required): [Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or other related engineering or construction discipline]; AND [five (5) years full-time industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility]; AND [a respective professional license or certification in a field such as Certified General Contractor, Certified Professional Building Designer, Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional, Registered Architect, Certified Professional Contractor or other recognized industry credential].
