REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess ACTA or ACLP or none as a supporting facilitator
  • Possess relevant experience and able to demonstrate effectively
  • Possess relevant qualifications

The trainer must be able to transfer information and practical knowledge of organisational policies, protocols and procedures to provide care and assistance in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

  • Able to establish clients’ need on chronic health conditions in accordance to regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Able to prepare tools and equipment to assist clients’ ADLs accordance with care plans
  • Able to take the factors into consideration to carry out the ADLs in accordance with established organisational procedures
  • Able to demonstrate and explain ways to take appropriate actions to ensure client’s privacy and dignity is protected
  • Able to respond to emergencies and apply first-aider in according to organisational SOPs
  • Able to dispose waste and make report on any abnormalities to supervisors in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements and guideline
