Job Details:
Conduct lectures and demonstrations in assigned subject areas
Lead, supervise, and assist students with practical skill projects
Evaluate student performance of content knowledge and practical skills
Record all grades and submit final course grades to the registrar
Track attendance and submit to the registrar
Maintain FAA Part 107 certification
Partner with the Program Chair for continual course improvement
Participate in departmental meetings and scheduled faculty developments
Skills & Attributes:
Aviation industry knowledge (ex., Regulations, Physics for Aviation, Interpretation of Sectional Charts, etc.)
Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong communication skills including the ability to speak to groups
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
FAA Part 107 certificate
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Aviation
Four years’ experience in the Aviation industry
1-3 years’ experience with UAS
Preferred:
Master’s Degree with a concentration in Aviation, or commitment to attain
Relevant industry certifications (ex., Aerial Photography, Mapping, Search and Rescue, etc.)
Experience directly related to UAS
Instructor experience a plus
