Job Details Job Location: Van Nuys - Van Nuys, CA Salary Range: $45.00 - $45.00 Hourly Description SEC is currently seeking highly qualified Registered Nurses to teach part-time LIVE Clinical rotations. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach clinical at well-known, established hospitals and medical facilities. Saturday and Sunday schedule. Must be flexible to work both 6:30am-3:30pm and 2:30pm-11:00pm during the weekend. For those that hold an MSN degree pay for the weekend could be up to $55 per hour. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care and critical care nursing, with experience in a hospital setting. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work effectively under pressure and is committed to providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accept complete responsibility for students in the clinical facility Teach a course load as assigned, including preparation for and instruction of theory classes and clinical laboratory experience Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning Clarify daily clinical expectations with students during pre-conference Clarify student placement and expectations with clinical facility staff Make patient/student assignments that meet both clinical objectives and patient needs Direct students in data collection and integration into their clinical paperwork; provide resources to students to ensure critical thinking through the nursing process Coordinate a daily plan with Clinical site to best observe, instruct, and evaluate students Direct post conference to ensure application of theoretical content to clinical experiences; provide opportunities for students to share learned experiences and verbalize feelings Evaluate student progress and give feedback weekly; provide clear objectives for improvement as needed Provide immediate feedback of clinical performance following observation of skills Qualifications Requirements: Licensed Vocational Nurse - current active license in the state of California Functional abilities to carry out classroom, clinical and laboratory teaching responsibilities. Competence in clinical skills in areas of teaching Competent in personal computer applications: word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email Education: LVN with AA or AS degree + 6 years experience required or a BA or BS with 6 years experience required (any type of degree) Success Education Colleges is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
