Description:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in an administrative position, ideally within the insurance/health care environment
  • Relevant post secondary/community college education
  • Medium- advanced level computer efficiency (MS Office, Outlook, Internet, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven organizational and multitasking skills

Responsibilities:

  • Document Management- Receive, organize case documentation, and provide to the assessor.
  • Receive and transfer incoming calls and messages when necessary.
  • Receive and direct examinees and assist them with form completion when necessary.
  • Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence.
  • Coordinate courier deliveries and pickups.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Chaperone services as required
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to consultants, management and staff.
  • Assist with booking, confirming and maintaining service scheduled using the administrative database where necessary.
  • Create assessment files, receive and file case documentation, and send consultant medical or other files necessary for completion of service
  • Distributing incoming mail and posting outgoing mail on a daily basis
  • Word processing documents, forms and reporting data as required
  • Developing and fostering client relationships
  • Working with national accounts and facilitating appointments
  • Triage and coordinate files, ensuring appropriate service is being provided
  • Maintain accurate records of postage meter, fax machine and copier usage
  • Scanning and archiving of old files.
