About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong PRO (Public Relations Officer) expertise to join our growing team in Dubai. This hybrid role combines comprehensive accounting responsibilities with critical government liaison and compliance functions, ensuring smooth operations in line with UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of UAE company procedures, visa processing, and labor laws. Manage the full cycle of visa applications, including labor cards, Emirates ID processing, renewals, cancellations, and all related labor and immigration formalities. Oversee the preparation, submission, and renewal of trade licenses, business registrations, and other legal documents with relevant government authorities. Maintain accurate records of all government transactions, approvals, and documentation. Monitor and promptly inform management of any changes in UAE government laws, regulations, procedures, or compliance requirements. Handle full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and perform bank reconciliations. Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines. Ensure all financial records and documentation remain accurate, organized, and fully compliant with UAE laws and regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Min 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting services or consultancy firm, preferably with exposure to UAE regulations. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and local accounting practices. Proficiency in accounting software, administrative tools, and Microsoft Office suite. Excellent communication and time management skills. Pursuit of a professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is a strong advantage. Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
