We are now looking for a highly organised and proactive Part-Time Admin / Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will support our operational and financial functions, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the company expands.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven bookkeeping experience (construction industry experience advantageous)
  • Proficient in accounting software (Xero/QuickBooks/Sage) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator with a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile transactions in accounting software (e.g., Xero/QuickBooks)
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients
  • Track project expenses and cost allocations
  • Assist with payroll preparation and HMRC submissions
  • Maintain VAT records and assist with quarterly VAT returns
  • Support financial reporting for management
