Job Summary The Department of Family Medicine is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide efficient administrative support for departmental quality, accreditation (ACGME-I), clinical performance indicators and research activities. Responsibilities • Provide administrative support for ACGME-I-related matters. • Provide administrative support for the Program Director and Associate Program Director on Resident matters. • Provide administrative support for the Periodic Curriculum Review and Academic Quality Statutory Evaluations. • Provide administrative support for the departmental research activities. • Provide administrative support for Departmental Clinical Quality KPIs – For this role reports to the Chair of department. • Any other role regarding departmental quality and residents’ assessments may be required by the Chair, Academic Quality Director and Program Director. Requirements • Diploma in Business Administration or Health Information Management, or Data Sciences or Business Information Technology or equivalent. • At least 2 years’ experience of directly related experience in administrative work • Research and Grant Administration would be an advantage. • Proficiency in office software, learning management platforms, office management systems and procedures. • Excellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages. • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. • Strong organizational skills with ability to work with minimal supervision. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal communication. • Ability to independently prioritize work, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Excellent time management and prioritization skills. • Well groomed, courteous and respectful. • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support for the Department of Family Medicine, focusing on quality assurance, ACGME-I accreditation matters, clinical performance indicators, and departmental research activities.
