UK Language Solutions is a translation and interpreting agency based in Stoke-on-Trent. We are currently looking for an Admin Assistant to assist our Admin team.
The hours can be flexible, and we will consider Full time and Part time hours. The role will be based at our office in Winton House (opposite the old Signal 1, radio station) Stoke Road, Stoke-on-Trent. We require someone with ideally at least 1 year’s admin experience who has excellent communication skills and is highly organised. The successful candidate will also possess a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
A proficient communicator, you will have strong oral communication skills. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent written English skills and strong attention to detail. You also may be required to assist the Finance department with their daily tasks. A numerate, well organised and efficient individual, you will be able to prioritise and manage a varied workload, as well as thriving on providing a first rate customer experience.
Priority will be given to candidates who can demonstrate previous admin experience. We are also looking for someone with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude who is willing to learn on the job and is committed to developing a career with UK Language Solutions in the longer term.
We offer a full induction training programme, comfortable and modern offices near to Hanley City Centre, free on-site parking, and the chance to progress with one of Staffordshire’s top translation agencies. This role is subject to a three month probationary period. Hours of work can be reviewed subject to changing business demands and the successful candidate’s progression within the role.
The role involves but not limited to day to day administrative duties, supporting the team with adhoc tasks and building a good rapport with our clients, sending emails, answering calls and other daily tasks. The ability to prioritise a large workload is essential.
