Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for individuals with experience in managing the daily operational system in the production team. Reporting into the Exec Chef Operations. Provides key operational administration support to the hot kitchen operation/ office. You must be a great communicator with a can-do attitude!
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- GCSE Math’s and English to level of pass
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of working in administration
Responsibilities:
- Prints, prepares and issues all daily operational system paperwork for the hot kitchen production team
- Prepares and issues all compliance paperwork and data sheets to the hot kitchen team
- Collect/ scan/ save and file operational and compliance documents from the kitchen and ensures accurate completion before scanning / filing
- Maintain updated paperwork in key areas around the kitchen operation and office for ready use by the kitchen operatives and kitchen management
- Maintains the hot kitchen roster, facilitates requests for shift changes and holidays for review by kitchen management
- Ensures the clear and accurate completion and availability of agency time sheets
- Ensure the available of accurate worked hours for the hot kitchen daily
- Receives communication from internal customers by email and phone and seeks information from kitchen before responding
- Prepares and sends email updates to internal customers, at set times through the day attaching scanned paperwork and photos and communicating the completeness and status of the deliveries
- Conducts audits on completed shipments and associated paperwork from the kitchen before dispatch
- Supports on other activities in and around the kitchen as required
- Support the catering unit and site with any other task reasonably required and with flexibility
Additional
- Ability to work rolling shifts including weekends
- Ability to work in a busy operational environment
- Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and internal customers by phone and email
- Good organization skills
- Computer literate on email, excel (basic) and for saving, scanning and filing electronic documents
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
